 Mohammad Sohrabi

Last Post: Dec. 2010

The province of Kerman is the second largest province of Iran and covers an area of 181,714 km². The central mountain ranges of Iran extend into this province so that  in short distances a quite different, cold and hot climate occurs. Most of the province is steppe or sandy desert, although there are some oases. The available lichen samples are mostly from the surroundings of Kerman and from Kuh-e Laleh Zar.
